Rossi Projects Price Of E-cat Units

Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat home fusion device promises to be revolutionary in the field of energy. If the unit works as promised, people will no longer be tied down to expensive fuel oil to heat their homes, or to natural gas to fuel home heaters.

Rossi, while not a conspiracy theorist, is not a push-over, either. He has been sold out before, and is determined to beat the competition. He is holding true to his claim that his competitors will not undersell him. He also says that the involvement of NASA in recent studies shows that, in spite of skepticism from “big science” the fact that NASA and other organizations are trying to beat him to market is proof that they believe, now, in the LENR technology behind the E-Cat.

His original projection was that the E-Cat unit, developed for home use, would cost between $1000 to $1500 USD. However, he has halved that price to $600 – $900, with the mention that a final price is to be set in stone after the device is certified. However, it’s worth mentioning that rough estimates say it would cost about the same as other household appliances.

Forever the “tweaker”, Rossi, whose E-Cat passed its debut in October, has been trying to find various suppliers to complete the development of his unit. National Instruments reportedly had an existing item that would make manufacture of the E-Cat even more simple, providing a modification that easily fits with a small controller board, leaving nothing but the hydrogen supply to be solved. This only proved to be a rumor, as the Italian inventor has its own control box.

The fusion itself is taken care of by the E-Cat, but the delivery of hydrogen supplies to manufacturing facilities is the issue. One of the most important advantages of the unit is that the E-Cat will retrofit any existing boiler in the market. What does this mean for the household E-Cat owner? That there is no need for special complex settings for the installation of a home energy catalyzer.

Rossi says that the fuel core will probably need replacement every 6 months or so, and that the Nickel – Hydrogen refueling cartridge exchange can easily replace the used one.

Competition, as with any other product, is a boon for the consumer. Let’s hope that Rossi’s competitive nature will remain strong over the urge to make back the personal fortune he has invested.

If only Rossi had such a device! But with no factories, no customers (who can be verified to exist) and no independent tests what has he got?
Just a blog he posts on from a condo in Florida!
