On Andrea Rossi’s blog, today, a poster asked the inventor about substituting LENR technology as a replacement for nuclear fission. This has been on the mind of many people hoping for the success of LENR energy. The recent tragedy in Japan, with the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, is still fresh on everybody’s mind. A recent poster on Rossi’s blog pointed out that many of the residents in that area won’t be able to return to their homes for 30 years. Martin, the poster, pointed out that E-Cat technology would save this type of thing from ever happening, and asked if there is an update about the E-Cat.

Rossi’s reply was:

“We are already manufacturing the industrial 1 MW plants and we are close to the manufacturing of high temperature plants. We have a license for Japan.”

It’s notable that Rossi would give single syllable replies to even the most complex questions, yet to this simple question he gives such information. We await the release of news on his high temperature E-Cat, and here, he says they are close to beginning manufacture of the plants. The fact that there is a license in Japan is also exciting, and anyone following this story is glad to hear that the 1MW power plant is being referred to in the plural.
